Aftermath of the Muse

The crisp high desert air filled my lungs, inspired my heart, and this painting floated into the world with the ease of a hot air balloon on an autumn morning. It was a simple apparition, very unlike my typically belabored, washed, watercolors. I saw it, painted it, and hung it. It needs no story to elucidate its intent for its imagery is crisp and clear as a healthy deep breath.
