Despite Considerable Effort … Reality Gets the Upper Hand
The subconscious mind is always aware of the reality of a situation, regardless of our attempts to distract ourselves. The truth bubbles forth from the murky depths of our unconscious mind and, exponentially increasing in power as time passes, makes us increasingly uncomfortable. We become caricatures as we stretch out of our usual behaviors in an effort to avoid that which we deny. Yet, no matter how far we look away or attempt to block our inner voice, reality prevails. Sometimes rudely shoving the truth down our throat.
